I have 22 new posts from you in my reader today -- I guess bloglines hasn't wanted me to read you for the past week or so. :o(
Personally.......not a turkey fan. We always did Thanksgiving with ALL the family and grandma's house, and she had several choices of meat. I always chose her mouth-watering pot roast, and therefore never developed much of a taste for turkey. I've never cooked one, either.
yes frozen whatever is on sale both- we usually have 30 plus, so we do roasted and deep fried. DH loves to deep fry them, it's his "specialty" you could say since he's not allowed in my kitchen, lol.
-Frozen -BIG (We love leftovers!) -Oven Roasted (My hubby is a master with fresh spices and rubbing down the turkey- Mmmmmm) -Usually doesn't matter on the brand. This year I did buy a Butterball but I don't think it is necessarily better than another.
you know my sweet dad went through all the efforts of deep frying and injecting a turkey = (yes lets make a semi healthy thing NOT) anyways, i didn't see much of a difference. :) I like grandma's way best :)
at our friends house the guys always deep fry the bird...but they drink too much beer...so they always over cook it...luckly turkey is NOT my favorite part of the dinner! So I do not care!!!!
Mom, wife, shopper of bargains, addicted to decorating and facebook garage sales. Worshipper of blue skies, palm trees and swimming pools. Lover of mountain getaways with my honey. Can often be found driving too fast in a certain Camaro. Favorite job is being Taylor's & Connor's mom. Lucky to also have five bonus kids and three most adorable bonus grands.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. -Robert Brauit

There's a party going on in my head and you can't stop it. It's been going on a long time.
You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. --- Gordon B. Hinckley
